 Musical Lady Art Deco Bronze Sculpture Statue
This bronze depicts a woman playing music with her musical instrument. This lovely sculpture is very detailed. It has a beautiful contrast of golden and brown patina and it is mounted on a Marble Base. The piece is inscribed with "A. Mcleuu" (see photo). This bronze was created by the lost wax process.
This sculpture would make a great conversation piece in any setting.
Lost Wax Casting Process
The "Lost Wax" is the most precise metal casting technique in existence, ensuring accurate reproductions of the original sculpture and exquisite detail. All bronze pieces are cast from a wax model regardless of the original material the model was sculpted in usually in clay or wax. "Lost wax" casting method was founded thousands of years ago. Even though, modern methods and materials have improved the technique. It is still an extremely labor intensive and expensive process.
