 "High on The Hill" Bronze by Dennis Smith, a Limited Edition. This sculpture depicts a a father holding his little girl high on his shoulder. The girl is wearing Mickey Mouse Ears and points excitedly to something she is watching, we assume that she is at Disneyland and is watching the Parade. The title of this bronze is "High on a Hill" and it is a limited edition. This piece has a beautiful brown patina and it is mounted on a green marble base.
This sculpture would make a great conversation piece in any setting.
Artist Bio:
Dennis Smith has achieved international recognition as a figurative sculptor. All bronze pieces are cast from a wax model regardless of the original material the model was sculpted in usually in clay or wax. "Lost wax" casting method was founded thousands of years ago. Even though, modern methods and materials have improved the technique. It is still an extremely labor intensive andexpensive process.
